Michael J. Calandra, Sr., age 85, of N. Cape May died June 1, 2015. Michael was born in Jersey City, NJ and had lived in Edison, NJ and New York City before moving to N. Cape May two years ago. Michael graduated from Seton Hall Univ. and NYU where he received his M.B.A. He served in the US Army during World War II. Michael was retired Senior Vice-President of Chase Manhattan Bank, NYC, and was a consultant for Townhouse Mgt. in New York City. He is survived by one son: Michael J. Calandra Jr. of N. Cape May; two sisters: Betty Ann DeFusco (Ken) of Livingston and Rose Marie Hughes of New Providence; and a brother Peter Calandra (Carol) of Los Angeles, CA. He also leaves a lifelong friend Alex Ylagen. Funeral services are private.
