Obituary of Frank Raymond Markley

Frank R Markley, age 69, of Cold Spring passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in North Wildwood, Frank has been a life-long Cape May area resident. He was employed for many years by the Cape May Star & Wave and retired as a custodian at the Charles Sandman Elementary School. Frank was a member of the Moose Lodge of Erma, the Elks Lodge of Villas and a social member of the VFW. He is survived by his wife Wendy Markley of Cold Spring; his son Frank R Markley, Jr. of Cape May Court House; and his daughter Melanie Markley of North Cape May. Also surviving are 1 grandchild; two brothers: John Markley of Erma & Charles Markley of North Cape May; and 1 sister Jane Hedley of North Cape May. There will be a funeral service at 5:00 PM on Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Frank's memory to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
