Obituary of Frederick Harry Wiser

Frederick H Wiser, 69, of Villas passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Courthouse Convalescent Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of the Fox Chase Section, he has been a Cape May area resident since 2007. Frederick has summered here since 1988. He worked in electronics in his earlier years, then became a firefighter for the City of Philadelphia, and later worked as a non teaching assistant for the Philadelphia Public School System. Frederick served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was an avid fisherman and spent many hours on the local shores. Frederick is survived by his wife of 45 years Charlotte (nee Somershoe) Wiser of Villas, and his three daughters: Patricia Scavilla, Cheryl (George) Reda, & Michele (Michael) Shields. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson Steven Reda. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
