Guy Joseph Raymond, 81, of Rio Grande passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Toledo, OH and formerly of Lancaster, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident since the early 1980's. Guy earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. He worked for Toledo Edison in Toledo, OH; at Elizabethtown College in Lancaster, PA; and for Sperry Rand Corp. in Vineland, NJ. Guy was a member of the Parish St John Neumann; the Legion of Mary; enjoyed fishing; traveling; and reading. He is survived by his wife Judith (whom he married on November 7, 1992 in the Philippines); his son James Raymond of Florida; and his daughter Hillary Raymond of Rio Grande, NJ. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, 1056 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
