Thomas Campana, Jr., 60, of Cape May passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at his home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Chester County, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident for 10 years. Thomas was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School in Levittown, PA. He was a retired steam fitter from Local # 420 of Philadelphia. Thomas was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a volunteer at the Cape May County Zoo building bird houses, an avid archer & fisherman, enjoyed kayaking, the outdoors, and wildlife. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Carol Campana of Cape May; one sister Catherine Stoner of Levittown, PA; and many nieces & nephews. He will be greatly missed by all including his two rescue dogs Jack & Jill. He was preceded in death by his sister Connie Cavalli in 1998. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 23, 2012, at the Cape May Coast Guard Station, Munro Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204. The family suggests donations in Thomas' memory to the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Munro Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204.
