Obituary of Barbara N Lafferty

Barbara Taylor Keene Lafferty, 67, of Rio Grande passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the North Cape Center, Cold Spring, NJ. She was a lifelong area resident. Barbara worked for over 30 years in restaurant and food services in the area. She was a charter member of the Ladies of the Moose, Lodge 1054, of Erma, NJ; and was a member of the Baptist Church of Town Bank, NJ. Surviving are her husband Steven D Lafferty; her daughters: Donna Keene (Charles Dougherty) of Dennisville, NJ & Tammie Mulliger (Troy) of Syracuse, NY; grandsons: Billy, Paul, and TJ; brothers: Harry Taylor of Wildwood, NJ & Eugene Taylor of Cold Spring, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Born in North Wildwood, she was predeceased by her parents, Charles & Jeraldine Taylor, her first husband Donald P Keene, and brother Charles Taylor. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
