Obituary of Kathryn V. Cherry

Kathryn Victoria "Katie" Cherry, age 23 of Lower Twp. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Katie was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifelong area resident.. She was a graduate of Lower Cape Reg. High School (2007) where she was involved in many activities including Band and Chorus. She was desk clerk employed with the Calamari Motel in Wildwood Crest. She previously was a head cashier for Shoprite in Rio Grande. Katie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Albert Cherry. She is survived by three children, Anastasia Hicks (5), Lillyian Hicks (4) , and John Hicks (2); mother and step father, Tracey Cherry and Thomas Smulski; father Norberto Toledo Sr.; siblings, Robert Toledo, Julia Toledo, Daniel; Toledo, Gloria, Toledo, Hector Toledo Kristi Jones and Mary Smulski; grandmothers, Kathryn Cherry and Gloria Toledo; aunts Kathryn Cherry and Carmen Neris and a uncle Fred Hicks. She also leaves many cousins. A funeral service will be at 6 pm on Monday July 2, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May where friends may call from 5 to 6 pm. Burial is private.
