OBITUARY Elizabeth K Maines, 91, formerly of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Crest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Bridgeton, NJ; and formerly from the Washington DC area; she has been a Cape May area resident for 20 years. Elizabeth worked for the Grandmother Program for the Children of Maryland; the Ocean Academy Head Start in Cape May Court House; and for many years in retail sales at Woody's Department Store in Maryland. She was a member of the Cape May Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed singing and dancing. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Sharon Maines (Joseph Mack) of Cape May Court House, two sisters-in-law: Marie Konshak & Frances Abbot; and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother Robert Greene. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Elizabeth's memory to the Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204.
