Sara L Carrick, Kelly, Kuintzle, 91, of West Cape May passed away peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Camden, NJ; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1949. Sara was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden; a member of Cape May Lutheran Church; a member of the "Women of the Church"; was a volunteer for the Cape May Nature Center; was known for her craft of seashell arrangements; and was an avid Phillies fan. She began her career as a baker in the National School Lunch Program at Consolidated School in 1956 and ended as a Supervisor for the Lower Cape May Regional High School Cafeteria retiring in 1981. Sara is survived by her son David Carrick of Venice, FL; her daughter Patricia Baird of Erma; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Arthur Carrick, William Kelly, and Charles Kuintzle. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Tabernacle United Methodist Cemetery. The family suggests donations in Sara's memory to the Cape May Lutheran Church Building Fund, 509 Pittsburgh Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204.
