Robert J Michalak, 86, of Rio Grande passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Court House Convalescent Center. Born in Jersey City, NJ; he was a long time Cape May area resident. Robert served his country during World War II in the US Navy. He was a sales representative for Industrial Utilities of Union Beach, NJ; and was a well known local musician. Surviving is his wife Ida (nee Winger) of South Amboy, NJ and his daughter Lori A Michalak of Edison, NJ. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
