Daniel P Dever, 51, Clermont passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012. Born in Havertown, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident since 1965. Daniel was a 1979 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School. He worked for 25 years on the Christopher Snow clamming boat and other local ships - rising to the rank of captain. Daniel was also the owner/operator of D&D White Glove Car Detailing in Clermont. He is survived by his children: Colleen Dever of Philadelphia, Danielle Dever of Clermont, and Daniel P Dever, Jr. of Clermont. Also surviving are his brother John (Patty) Dever of Valrico, FL and his sister Maryellen Hanstein of Cape May Court House, NJ. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
