Dear Butch, Sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my Mom in 1990 and my Dad in 2001. I hope you and your Dad were at peace with one another. No matter you will miss him and for that I am sorry. Just hang on to the Good times. It really does get better. Jr and I live in my Mom and Dads house now. Feel free to write or call. Give my best to your Mon and Sister for me.
Sincerely, Charlotte

I have always been so grateful to have been part of this family. My memories are many; George as a young man getting ready on a Saturday night to go roller skating to when he was away serving his country in the Navy, and as a husband, father and faithful son. He loved life and humor. He loved taking his wife to dinner at Somers Point to celebrate very special occasions, he loved his children and was very proud of them. His life aboard destroyer escorts in the Pacific during the thick of action in World War II must have been hell on earth and yet he survived, scarred, probably, but hopeful and loving and loyal. He and Ruth were so kind to me and a I loved him dearly.
