Agnes Calabrese Verile Moore, 86, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in South Hackensack, NJ and formerly of Wichita, KS and Jefferson Township, NJ; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1988. Agnes was a Eucharistic Minister at St Mary's Episcopal Church in Stone Harbor, NJ and created the prayer group at the church. She was a member of the choir at St Anthony's Episcopal Church in Hackensack. Agnes was an executive secretary for the Bendix Corp. of Teterboro, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Nathaniel Moore of North Cape May; her daughter Diane (William) Carlock of Flanders, NJ; her daughter Alice (Ronald) Stenlake of Lower Twp, NJ; and her son George (Marie) Verile Jr. of Pompton Lake, NJ. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, one great grandson, and one sister Violet Walters. Agnes was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. There will be a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at St Mary's Episcopal Church, 95th & 3rd Ave, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Agnes' memory to Volunteers in Medicine, 423 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08260.
