William J "Buddy" Jamison, 58, of Villas passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Victoria Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family. Born in Philadelphia, he has been a Cape May area resident since 1960. William worked for the Cape May County MUA for 14 years. He served with the 253rd Unit of the National Guard and served a tour of duty in Iraq, was a member of the Villas VFW, the Del Haven DAV, and he especially enjoyed fishing. William is survived by his wife of 38 years Linda (nee Hinze) Jamison of Villas; his son Richard (Kathryne) Jamison of Villas; his son Christopher (Marie) Jamison of Villas; his daughter Angela Rodriguez (Colin Franklin) of Villas; and 6 grandchildren: Caitlyn, Colin, Jacqueline, Haley, Kaylee, & Nathan. Also surviving are his brothers: Harry Jamison of N Cape May & Jimmy Jamison of Villas; and his sisters: Elizabeth Byrne of Fishing Creek, Susan Meenan of Upper Twp, Kathy Brooks of N Cape May, and Sharon Weiser of Del Haven. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory can be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
