Joan Kathleen Dickinson, 69, of Lewes, DE passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 in Orlando, FL. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 1, 1942 to Margaret & Harry Leming. Joan was Catholic by faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Dickinson was an avid bowler and had the highest women's score at the bowling alley in Rio Grande, NJ. She met her husband at a bowling alley and they were married for 43 years. Joan enjoyed traveling and country line dancing. Mrs. Dickinson is survived by her husband William "Bill" Dickinson of Lewes, DE; and sons Brian Dickinson of Rio Grande, NJ and Barry (Jennifer) Dickinson of Boonton, NJ. Friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204. A 12:30 PM graveside service will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Joan's memory to the American Red Cross, 34 E Mechanic St, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
