Veronica A Volkman, age 77, of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Veronica was born March 10, 1936 in Baltimore, MD and was a life-long resident there; moving to the Cape May area in 2012. She was employed by WR Grace Co., Baltimore, MD as an Office Administrator for 15 years. Veronica was Catholic by faith, enjoyed traveling with friends, playing golf, reading, and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Leigh Volkman of Arvada, CO, and Karen Volkman Pope of CMCH, NJ; one sister Virginia Shortt; and one brother Louis V Hauf. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Michael Griffin, Alexis Pope, Sebastian Brush, and Claudia Brush. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
