Mary Ellen Tobin, 82, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2012 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia; she has been a long time Cape May area resident. Mary Ellen was a retired claims representative for the Social Security Administration in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of the late Ellen Marie & Thomas J Tobin. Mary Ellen is survived by her siblings: Thomas (Pauline) Tobin, William (Mary Ann) Tobin, James Tobin, John (Sally) Tobin, Catherine (Joseph - deceased) Sharkey, Deacon Charles Tobin, and Rosemary (John) von Eschenbach. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Mary Ellen's memory to the Christ Child Society, PO Box 882, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
