Ritter, Anna (nee Waldie) 93, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away peacefully on February 4, 2012 with her family by her side. Anna was born on June 8, 1918 in Darby, Pa. She graduated from Darby High School in 1935 and attended West Chester State Teacher's College with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She taught in Darby for nine years, four years in 1st grade and five 5years in Kindergarten. She also taught for 26 years of Kindergarten in Ocean City, NJ Anna also served on the North Wildwood School Board. Anna is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Ritter whom she married on March 20, 1948. Anna is survived by her brother, Charles Waldie and step-daughter Marjorie (Ron) Hilton of North Carolina and their 3 children Jeffery, Andrea, Barbara and Eight grandchildren. Anna will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews Carol Alexander, Emily Sullivan, Bruce Waldie, Geoffrey Waldie, Ellen Waldie, Linda Waldie, George Burns, Jr., Charles Burns, James Burns, Sally Burns, Anne Burns, James Waldie, Rebecca Powell, George Waldie, Jr., John Waldie, Thomas Waldie, Ruth Potts, Randall Waldie and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and Interment are Private at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the Wetlands Institute of Stone Harbor 1075 Stone Harbor Boulevard Stone Harbor, NJ 08247-1424.
