Marguerite "Marge" McPherson of Erma died peacefully surrounded by family at Cape Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Born and raised in Riverside she spent summers in Wildwood before moving to Erma in 1950. She taught Sunday school at the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church for 20 years, retired from the billing office at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and worker as a hostess at the Lobster House in Cold Spring
She was preceded by her parents Harry and Wilhelmina Theurer, brothers Harry and John and her husband David "Crate" McPherson. She is survived by her children Craig (Kathleen), Mark, David (Theresa), grandchildren, Mark, Brian, Lauren and Christine, great grandchildren, Maya, Laila and Giulia, her best friend Nancy and her faithful dog Abby.
