Wood, Elaine J. 88 of Cape May Courthouse. Passed away on January 27, 2012 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, she was an area resident for seven years. She had worked many years as the principal's secretary in the North Penn School District in Montgomery County, PA. Elaine loved gardening and animals. Living her later years in Cape May county, she enjoyed walking the beaches with her dogs. Elaine is predeceased by her husband E. James Wood, parents, Charles Beringer and Emeline Dumonler, sister, Helen Shearer Dyer. Elaine is survived by her daughters , Patsy Jo Pulcher (Robert)of Pa , Christine Prestella (Ed) of NJ; a sister Nancy Agnew of Iowa ; grandchildren Allison Maund (Keith), Sarah Endy (Doug), Dan Pulcher (Dana) and great grandchildren Kristi Maund, Connor and McKenna Endy and Leah and Lily Pulcher. Funeral Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to: Our Savior Lutheran Church of Stone Harbor 9212 3rd Ave Stone Harbor, NJ 08247 Attn: Grow with Us Campaign. The family thanks the TLC staff at Crest Haven for their exceptional care.
