Obituary of Julia Ann Malmgren

Julia S. Malmgren, age 62, of Villas passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Ocean View Center of Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Marion County, West Virginia and formerly of Elkton, MD; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1996. She was a graduate of Ravenswood High School, attended West Virginia University, and graduated from Holzer Medical Center School of Nursing in 1973. Julia was a registered labor and delivery nurse and a child birth educator with Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels RC Church and a member of their choir. She played the clarinet, and enjoyed singing in and out of the church. Julia is survived by her husband: Erick Malmgren; three sons: Erick (Jennifer) Malmgren of Wilmington, DE, Philip (Amy) Malmgren of Estell Manor, NJ, & Joshua Malmgren of Villas, NJ; and two daughters: Mary Lockett of North East, MD, and Jessica Malmgren of Villas, NJ. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and two brothers: Rev Father Douglass Sutton of Fairview, WV and Rev Father Stephen Sutton of Bel Air, MD. She was preceded in death by her brother John W Sutton. There will be a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Our Lady of the Angels RC Church, 35 E Mechanic St, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210; where friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
