Margaret Mary Nailie, age 88 of N. Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at her home . Margaret was born January 24, 1923 in Limerick City, Ireland, She had been an area resident the past 50 years and formerly lived in Brooklyn, NY. She served in the Army during World War II.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Charles and is survived by three sons: Charles (Karen) Nailie of Dennisville, John (Gloria) Nailie of New Market, TN, Robert (Sue)Nailie of Marthon, FL,; three daughters: Geri (David) Hickman of Erma, Christine (Jeff) Irwin of North Cape May,, Maggie (Carl) Herrera of Sewell, NJ ; sister, : Anita Glancy of N Cape May, sister-in-law, Doris Britt of Portland, ME.. She also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am on Thursday January 19, 2012 at the Parish Of St. John Neumann @ St John Of God Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am at the church. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Susan G.. Komen , 2 Princess Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
