Helen D Conwell, 86, of Villas passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Langhorne, PA; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1969. Helen was a nurse with Holy Redeemer Hospital in Summerton, PA. She was a member of St Raymond's RC Church and their choir; was a Eucharistic Minister; and was a member of the prayer group Joy in Jesus. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Joseph R Conwell in 2000. She is survived by her son Michael (Peg) Conwell of Erma; her daughter Sharon Taylor of Villas; and her daughter Christine (Toni) Nicolau of Del Haven. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one brother Fredrick (Cass) Daniels of NH; and one sister Tillie (Norman) Hinman of Zephyr Hills, FL. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Helen's memory to the Cape May County Animal Shelter, 110 Shelter Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210; or the Eternal Word Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Rd, Irondale, AL 35210.
