Robert J Hagenbarth, 78, of Villas passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at North Cape Center. Born in Vineland, NJ and formerly of Philadelphia, PA; he has been a Cape May area resident for 20 years. Robert was a sheet metal worker for Peabody & Wind of Philadelphia. He was a member of St Raymond's RC Church; a 3rd Degree Knight with the Stella Maris Council # 3546 of the Erma Knights of Columbus; a 4th Degree Knight with the Monsignor Moroney Assembly of Wildwood; a past Grand Knight of the Philadelphia Knights of Columbus; a volunteer at the Lower Cape Senior Center; a member of the VFW in Villas; a member of the St Raymond's Good Samaritans; and a delivery driver for Mobile Meals. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter Susan Marie Hagenbarth. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Dolores Hagenbarth of Villas. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friend may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Robert's memory to the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
