Obituary of Edward J DeJames

Edward "Mush" DeJames, age 42, of Villas passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at North Cape Center of North Cape May, NJ after a long battle with Cryptococcus Meningitis. Born in Philadelphia, PA.; he has been a Cape May area resident most of his life. He was employed by Pool Zone, CMCH, NJ for the past 10 years. Mush was an avid poker player, played pool in a local league, and was a huge Oakland Raiders fan. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan DeJames. Edward is survived by: his father Joseph DeJames; his sisters: Joanne (Robert) Stansbury, Adele (Shawn) Lore, & Regina DeJames; two brothers: Frank Sippel, Joseph DeJames Jr.; many nieces & nephews; and countless friends. His Infectious laughter and constant smile will be missed many. There will be a funeral service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends will be received from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
