Obituary of Mary E Cipriotti

Mary E Cipriotti (nee Matthews), 51, of Mantua passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Cape May Court House and formerly of Erma; she has been a resident of Mantua for the past 25 years. Mary was a 1978 graduate of Lower Cape May Reg. High School; a former Cape May County Junior Miss; and former Miss Cape May County. She was a vocalist and sang in several bands in South Jersey. Mary enjoyed taking care of her many animals. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill. Mary worked as the Partner Accounts Manager at Cisco Systems for 10 years and for the 3Com Corporation. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Matthews. Mary is survived by her husband Richard D. Cipriotti; her daughter Brittany Cipriotti, her son Matthew Cipriotti; and her mother Doris Matthews. Also surviving are her brothers: Robert (Cindy) Matthews & Charles Matthews Jr.; her sisters: Linda (Arthur) Smith & Terry (James) Coover; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly. There will be a funeral service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 702 Seashore Rd, Erma, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 noon. Burial will follow the service at Tabernacle Cemetery. The family suggests donations in Mary's memory to the Cape May Animal Shelter, 110 Shelter Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
