James A Cherry, 29, of Cape May passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 at his home. Born in Cape May Court House; he has been a life long resident of the Cape May area. James enjoyed watching football and was an outstanding high school football player himself. He was a self employed carpenter. James was preceded in death by his parents James & Patricia Cherry. He is survived by his grandmother Kathryn Cherry of Ventnor, NJ; his half sister Destiny Murray of North Cape May; his aunts Kathryn E Cherry & Tracey Cherry (and her husband Thomas Smulski); his close cousin Robert Toledo as well as many other cousins & friends. There will be a funeral service at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
