George C Harshman, 87, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2011 at his home. Born in Payne, OH and formerly of Waretown, NJ; he has been a Cape May area resident since 2006. George was a state housing inspector for the State of New Jersey retiring in 2006. In his earlier years, he sold used cars, raced automobiles, and was an aerial photographer. George is survived by his wife Georgeanna; his stepson David Sexton; and two grandchildren: Georgia & Josie. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests donations in George's memory to the Cape May County Animal Outreach, PO Box 1225, Cape May, NJ 08204.
