Rosalie P "Babe" McDaniels, 71, of Fishing Creek, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Camden, NJ; she has been a lifelong resident of the Cape May area, and wintered in Big Pine Key, FL. Babe enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and gardening. She was the devoted wife of Donald G McDaniels of Fishing Creek; and the loving mother of: Linda Geiss, Charlotte (David) Holman, Deanna (Scott) Taylor, Carol Veale, & Rosalie Douglass. Also surviving are her brothers: Richard Dahlen & James Dahlen; her son-in-law Mark Stevens; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Stevens and her son-in-law Lee Veale. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204. The family suggests donations in Rosalie's memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
