Obituary of John Edward Hedley

OBITUARY John E Hedley, 72, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home. Born in Albion, NJ; he has been a life long Cape May area resident. John spent several years living in West Cape May before finally moving to North Cape May. He was employed for several years at Morrow's Nut House in Cape May. John was a loving, caring family man who enjoyed spending time with his family members. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Hedley of N Cape May; his son William John Hedley of N Cape May; his daughter Donna Johnson of Breman, GA; his daughter Brenda Meadows of Carrollton, GA; and his son John Hedley Jr. of Palm Bay, FL; two step-sons Charles H. Keeler Jr. of Cape May and Robert W. Keeler of Villas. Also surviving are his siblings: Doris Skiles of Coatesville, PA; Robert Hedley of West Cape May, NJ; Gladys Mendo of Cape May, NJ; and Linda McCarthy of Cape May, NJ; along with 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:30 AM on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
