Rita E McMahon, 89, of Lower Township passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA; she has been a long time Cape May area resident. Rite was the last of 13 children. She is survived by her two daughters: Rosemarie (George) Beck & Elizabeth Skedzielewski; and her son John (Janet) McMahon. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rds, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The family suggests donations in Rita memory to the Blind Foundation of New Jersey, PO Box 929, Denville, NJ 07834 or the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th Street & Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
