Edward Meyers, 92, of Villas passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city; he has been a Cape May area resident since 1983. Edward worked for the Philadelphia Railroad and was a printer for the Beneficial Bank of Philadelphia before retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Villas Fishing Club and the Villas VFW Post 5343 where he was a member of the home association. Edward is survived by his daughter Lorraine Craig of Cinnaminson, NJ, her two sons Mark Craig & Scott (Wendy) Craig, and her granddaughter Taylor Craig. He is also survived by his daughter JoAnn (Richard) Coughlan of Warminster, PA, and her children: Richard, Erin, & Timothy, and her 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rds, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
