Marcia L DiMedio, 60, of Erma passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at her home. Born in Hershey, PA; she spent most of her life in the Cape May area. Marcia graduated in 1969 from Lower Cape May Regional High School and in 1991 from Glassboro State University Suma Cum Lauda. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandsons. Marcia was a teacher at Lower Cape May Regional High School for 10 years - retiring in 2010. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Michael of Erma; her daughter Nicole DiMedio of North Cape May; her daughter Liza DiMedio of Villas; and son Adam of Villas. Also surviving are three grandsons: Nico, Mikey, & Zac; two brothers: Lewis & Stuart; and three sisters: Gail, Darlene, & Lisa. She was preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Heminway. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Marcia's memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260 or the Gene Sole Scholarship Fund, c/o Sturdy Bank, 701 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204.
