Louise J Conlon, age 77, of West Cape May passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Stratford, NJ; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1980. She was a graduate of Haddon Heights High School in 1952 and graduated from Business School in Philadelphia. Louise was an Executive Secretary for RCA in the 1950's; worked at Bally's Park Place Casino as director of housekeeping; was manager of Townbank Manor Apartments; was a hotel-motel manager in many area locations; and more recently Executive Secretary at Yorkshire Place in North Cape May. She was a member of the Athene Chapter Eastern Star Camden , NJ and was the Worthy Matron; and was a Sunday School teacher at Stratford Methodist Church. Louise enjoyed making hats and other crafts; helping others; but most important was spending time with her family. Louise is survived by her son George (Maryann) Elmer Jr. of Laurel Springs; daughters: Georgeann Shoemaker (Rich Wilson) of Laurel Springs, Louise Spink of Vorhees, Marguerite (Phil) Falso of North Cape May, Linda (Ted) Hudson of Rio Grande, & Wendy (Skip) Creiton of ME. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Conlon in 2005 and her son Fredrick Roger Elmer in 1994. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ. 08020.
