Franz and his Wife Irmgard sponsored my mother, Ruth, into the United States in 1955. For that I am eternally grateful, for without them, my mother wouldn't have met my father here and I would never have existed. What I remember about Franz was that he was a super hard working man, always working 2 jobs at a minimum. He was proud of his German heritage but even more proud of America and his opportunity to have a life and family here. A Real man. Rest in peace Franz!!
