Obituary of Edward J Linus

OBITUARY Edward J Linus Sr, age 75, of Cape May and formerly of Doylestown, PA died on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Willow Grove, PA; he was co-owner of James E Linus & Sons Auto Glass in Philadelphia, PA. Edward was a member of, and an usher at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church in North Cape May. He was an avid fisherman & hunter, enjoyed bowling, boating, and waterskiing. His kindness and thoughtfulness will be missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. Surviving are: his loving wife Joan; son Edward J Linus Jr & wife Darlene; grandchildren Seann & Carly; and stepsons: Randy (Christine), Richard, Robert (Deborah), & Ryan. Also surviving are his brother Richard (Patricia) Linus; sister Janet (Joseph) Hughes; mother-in-law Estella G Lees; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, & friends. There will be a viewing from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. There will also be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday September 16, 2011 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, Nj 08204.
