Francis John Higgins, age 71, of North Wildwood passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city, he has been a Cape May area resident since the 1950's. Francis served his country for 14 years in the US Army including service in Vietnam. He was a catholic by faith. Francis is survived by his brother William (Selina) Higgins of Maple Shade, NJ; and his sister Margaret (Anthony) Petrillo of Vorhees, NJ. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
