Patricia A Gift, age 70, of North Cape May passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia; after a courageous and valiant battle with many medical issues. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city, she has been a Cape May area resident for over 45 years. Patricia was the owner/operator of Pat's Place Restaurant in Burleigh, NJ for many years and she worked for various other local restaurants. She is survived by her husband Leroy Gift; her children: Richard Geronimo, Patricia (Daniel) Seitz, Maria (Christopher) Vassar, Dawn (Scott) Harrison, Suzann (John) Walker, & Michael (Kathy) Gift. Also surviving are her two stepchildren: Leroy Gift and Lisa Gift; her sister Marguerite McLachlan; 38 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Pat's memory to the Arthritis Foundation, 555 Route 1 South, Suite 320, Islen, NJ 08330.
