David R Macool, age 62, of Rio Grande, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city, he has been a Cape May area resident for 10 years. David served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and he was Vice President of Operations for International House in Philadelphia. He is survived by his wife JoAnn (nee Forsyth) Macool; his daughter Denise Capitani; his son Vincent Capitani; and his grandchildren: Christopher Fox & Alexis Fox. Also surviving are his sisters: Joan Napoli & Barbara Mitchell; his brother Jack Macool; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
