Virginia Pleis-Hoyt

Obituary of Virginia C Pleis-Hoyt

Please share a memory of Virginia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Virginia ("Ginny") Pleis-Hoyt, age 69, of Rio Grande passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the North Cape Center. Ginny lost her battle with cancer with her family by her side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ginny was a resident of Cape May County for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and could possibly be the greatest Elvis Presley fan that ever lived. Ginny will be remembered by her loving husband William Hoyt; her best friend & sister Linda Koslowsky; her loving sister Patricia Schofield; her supportive sister-in-law Mary Duffy; her children: Dottie & Matt Slobodjian and Charles Schultz; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; her cat "Holly"; and all of her friends at the First Bank of Sea Isle City. Ginny will be welcomed by her parents Albert & Dorothy Duffy; her brother Raymond Duffy; her daughter Kelley Anne Pleis; and her grandchild. The "Love of Linda Cancer Fund" (PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260) was such a support system to Ginny as she fought her battle with cancer; and her greatest wish was to have donations made in her honor. A special thanks to the radiation department at Cape Regional, the staff at Dr Gandhi's office, and the staff at North Cape Center. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
