Patrick John Cassario, age 85, of Town Bank passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of Atco, NJ; he has been a Cape May area resident since1988. Patrick proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was a bus driver for Transport of New Jersey in Turnersville, NJ for 35 years retiring in 1987. Patrick was a member of the American Legion of Atco, NJ and also of the Town Bank Property Owners Assoc. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony (Lucy Carmano) Cassario, his son Kevin Michael Cassario, one sister, and five brothers. Pat is survived by his wife of 44 years Emma ("Bea") Cassario of Town Bank, NJ; his son Patrick (Bunny) Cassario of Hammonton, NJ; his daughter Sharon (Nick) Colangelo of Washington Twp, NJ; and his daughter Nancy (Jerry) Hickson of North Cape May, NJ. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 12 noon on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that tokens of sympathy be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210.
