Obituary of Lois Chantel Pimpinella

Lois C Pimpinella, age 55, of North Cape May passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the North Cape Center. Born in Cape May Court House, she has been a life long resident of Cape May County. Lois was a graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School and attended ACC for nursing - earning her Associates Degree. She was a Registered Nurse last working for the Family Addiction Center in Somers Point. During her nursing career she worked for: Burdette Tomlin Hospital; Shore Memorial Hospital; North Cape Center; Oceana Nursing Home; Chapin House; Loyalton; and several other healthcare facilities in Cape May County. Lois was also a folk art painter & crafter, had a passion for gourmet cooking, loved taking care of animals, and enjoyed tending to the many types of plants & flowers in her yard. She is survived by her husband Frank R Pimpinella; her son Frank R (Georgette) Pimpinella Jr. of Great Mills, MD; and her son Brad (Marguerite) Pimpinella of Green Creek, NJ. Also surviving are her sister Patricia Gonzalez and four grandchildren: Anthony, Samantha, Logan, & Candace; and one additional grandchild "on the way". There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Friends may call on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204. The family suggests donations in Lois' memory to the Cape May Animal Shelter, 4 Moore Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
