Hey Steven,
I saw your posts and had to send a quick note to you. I worked with your dad years ago with Texaco. I was a kid right out of high school and your dad took the time to work with me even though he had a lot going on otherwise. Your dad constantly talked about you and was so proud of you. Even in some pretty tough times talking about you made him smile. It's things like that even back from 1988 I still remember because he taught me lessons on the importance of family. Take care.

Job well done, good and faithful servant. These are the words that each Christian wants to hear the day he stands before God and is judged. I believe that when we are released from our earthy bodies, we are present with the Lord. Steve has gone home. I know that Steve loved his family passionately: Lynn, Steve Jr., and Ryan. Through these past eight years, we were privileged to share in Steve's hopes, joys, dreams, and anxieties; just as he shared in ours. As a parent, he wanted only the best life had to offer his sons, and yet knew life would not always be kind. Steve recognized that his job was to equip and support his sons to meet life's challenges head on, to succor and encourage them, to be proud of who they were and were becoming; to be everything God meant them to be. There was never a conversation that did not include a reference to Lynn and their next adventure or dream home; together. Steve understood all to well what he was up against healthwise, and would make the most health and exercise conscious among us,humbled by his drive, determination, and commitment to life. Steve, undoubtedly, could excel in anything he focused on. My father was a Master Mariner, having graduated from King's Point. They were cut from the same cloth. Steve knew the sea. He knew people. He knew life. We were privileged to know Steve in this chapter of his professional life as a top notch realtor. Steve knew Cape May like the back of his hand. He loved his native home. Although escaping to the mountains periodically, his passion to excel and serve was unparalled. For this we thank him from the bottom of our hearts. Most significantly, Steve leaves behind to his sons and wife, his good name.Dear Lynn, Steve and Ryan, may God carry you in this time of grieving and provide you with an inner peace which surpasses all understanding. Know that Steve is with His Heavenly Father and at peace. Most sincerely, Candace, Don and Christopher Scott

Although he was our realtor, we considered him a friend. He fought a courageous fight right up to the end. He was the best realtor we have ever had, always a "no problem" attitude. We are very saddened by his passing and wish Lynn and the boys the best..

There are to many good memories for me to list on this page. Steve and I learned the tugboat business together and I loved every minute that we were together at Texaco learning about life. We shared together
most of our lives the most important things, friendship, understanding and forgiveness.
We treated each other with a respect that rarely comes along in just friends.
I will miss his laughter, his companionship and his courage to live life everyday. I will miss him on our Harley rides in the mountains, our parties in our back yards, and on our phone conversations that only he can understand.
I will miss him more than he will ever know.

I meet Steve in 2007 through Coldwell Bankers when my wife and I were shopping for a home in Cape May. We remained friends over the years and always made a point to stay in touch and visit over CM, family and sports, even catching Ryan's lax games.
Steve will be missed.

Rest in peace Uncle Steve. If you had to go now, I am glad it was at least without suffering. You will leave a huge void in our lives because you played such a big part. I will keep a piece of you in my heart always. Love, Nikki
