Walter S Jaroszewski, age 87, of North Cape May passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he has been a Cape May area resident for 30 years. Walter was an engineer with Steel Heddle Manufacturing of Philadelphia for over 30 years; and owned & operated the Walter Jaroszewski Handyman Services from the 1980's to 1990. He served his country in the US Army Infantry during World War II serving in Normandy and Rhineland. Walter was a member of the Charles Buddy Lewis VFW Post 5343 in Villas. He is survived by his daughters: Barbara (Ralph) Camp of Bascom, FL; and Virginia (Rick) Casciello of Harleysville, PA.; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lydia in 1995. There will be graveside services at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 6, 2011; at the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ. The family suggests donations in Walter's memory to the Lower Township Senior Center, 2612 Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251.
