Francis "Frank" O. Dykie, age 73, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden. Born in Philadelphia, he has been a Cape May area resident since 2002. Frank was a construction worker for the Drywall Finisher's Union of Philadelphia. He attended the Lower Township Senior Center; was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Philadelphia; enjoyed singing (especially Frank Sinatra songs) under the name Frank Drake; and often sang at the Senior Center, the Wildwood Catholic Benefit, on Cruises, and at the Disston Park in Tacony, PA. Frank is survived by: his son Gregg Bruckno & his husband John Rector of NY City; his daughter Kim Moore of North Cape May; and two grandchildren: Joshua & Grace Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan Boardman Dykie in 2004. There will be a memorial service at 12 noon on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 11:30 to 12:00. Interment will be private.
