Obituary of Elizabeth A Starnes

Elizabeth A Starnes (nee Carty), age 65, of Villas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the North Cape Center. Born in Somers Point, she has been a life long resident of the Cape May area. Elizabeth was a pantry worker at the Lobster House for 31 years, was actively involved with the local 4-H, an avid gardener, an excellent cook, and found great joy in all her kitty cats. She is survived by: her son Ken Starnes of Villas; her daughter Lisa (Greg) Bratsburg of California; her adopted son Chris Suttera; and her mother Elizabeth Blevins. Also surviving are: her brother Harold (Peg) Carty of Erma; her two sisters: Fonda (Gary) Binder of Oregon & Terry (Dan) Sherwood of Oregon; 7grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces & nephews; and her special friend Bernice. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
