Obituary of Charles Freedman Jenkins

OBITUARY Charles F Jenkins, 81, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at his home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of South Philadelphia; he has been a Cape May area resident since 1975. Charles served his country in the US Air Force. He worked at McKeon Glass in Philadelphia; Wildwood Glass; and Bell Glass. Charles enjoyed making silhouettes out of wood and was a very handy man around the house. He is survived by his wife Margaret Jenkins; his daughter Margaret (Randy) Pluta of North Cape May; his son Chick Jenkins of North Cape May; and his daughter Deborah Jenkins of North Wildwood. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and two sisters: Elizabeth Robinson of South Philadelphia and Blanche Leone of Philadelphia. Charles was preceded in death by his brother John and his sister Ann Tittermerry. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
