Teresa C Bacungan, age 65, of North Cape May passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in the Phillipines, she has been a Cape May area resident since 1981. Teresa was the owner /operator of the Barber Shop by the Bay in North Cape May. She is survived by: her husband Teofilo "Phil" S Bacungan Sr. who is retired from the US Coast Guard, is currently employed by M V Engineering in Cape May Court House, and lives in North Cape May; her son Teofilo (Laura) S Bacungan Jr. of Austin, TX; and her daughter Rowena (Carmelito) Gabriel of San Diego, CA. Also surviving are her grandchildren Christopher Bacungan and Noah Gabriel. They will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Parish of St John Neumann at St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
