Joan T. Corson age 75 of Villas passed away on Friday April 8, 2011 at her home. Born in Philadelphia she was a Cape May area resident since 2001 and formerly resided in Berlin. Joan had worked for the PSFS Bank in Phila. PA for 38 years. She also had worked for the Lindenwold Elementary School as a secretary for 9 years retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Villas Fishing Club. She is preceded in death by her husband James (April, 2010) She is survived by her daughter Peggy Weldon of Croydon, PA and two grandchildren Billy (Lisa) Weldon and Melissa (James) Sizemore and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM on Wednesday April 13, 2011 at St. John Neumann Parish at St Raymonds Church, Bayshore Road And Ocean Ave., Villas where a viewing will be held from 10 to 11 am Burial will be held at approx. 2 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hope Community Cancer Center, 210 S. Shore Road, Route 9, Suite 106, Marmora, NJ 08223.
