Joseph J Kenney, age 87, of Villas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born and raised in Philadelphia; he has been a Cape May area resident for 28 years. Joseph was a retired mechanic for Amtrack in Philadelphia. He served his country during World War II in the US Army; was a member of the American Legion in Wildwood; and a member of the Villas VFW. Joseph is survived by his wife Mildred Kenney of Villas; three nieces; and one nephew. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Parish of St John Neumann, at St Raymond's RC Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
